Mark Hatley (b. 1982) received his MFA in Studio Art from the University of South Carolina. His media of choice have included oil painting, printmaking, and collage. He taught at Northeastern State University for a number of years and has shown work as an artist across the country and abroad. After an unsatisfying experience designing a tattoo for another artist to ink, he decided to learn the trade himself (and frequently on himself ). When not sketching on skin, he can be found foraging and eco-stewarding in his native habitat of eastern Oklahoma and teaching at an alternative school in Muskogee, OK.
