Simon Anton Niño Diego Baena
TALISMAN
For Federico Garcia Lorca
I want to find you
like a talisman
keep you nearer
but the mound stays undiscovered
I dream of beaks
and gilded mirrors
of creaking doors
dawn could never reveal that body
of dark alleys
of light craving exits
no eyes ever saw
the wound
I want all cisterns opened
but the trail ends
where I begin
the lone rider ages ago already entered Cordoba
